Static Ticker

Townsend (following on from Livermore) is recalled. Bare bones, bare bones.

One of the resident posters here said 'Sandro to Madrid'. We scoffed, but today, it seems the story is finally making sounds in Spain. Sky Sports story here. The ITK exclusive first posted here.

Sunday, 11th April at 4pm is semi-final day for us, if...if we get past Fulham. Not sure when the NLD is, but that may well turn out to be a vital game for us, re: 4th place.

10 games left. Skin of teeth, in 4th. COYS. Skin of teeth is fine by me if that's what it takes to stay there.

Huddlestone needs to see a specialist. Can I once more refer you back to the January transfer window.

Jamie O'Hara wants a day out at Wembley, at our expense. The traitor!!

quote of the day

"What's the difference between Nicholas Bendtner vs Burnley and Sharon Stone in basic intinct? Both shocking knickerless performances, but in the Burnley game we got to see a full 73 minutes of the hairy twat"

I'm looking for a publisher. Or at least will be in the coming year. Firstly, thanks to the people who sent me contact information, it's much appreciated and if anyone else wants to lend a hand or send some relevant info my way, please to do so.

The original master-plan was to complete a diary of the 2008 and 2009 seasons using the basis of this blog as my pool of research, as I've more or less already chronicled the events of the past two years. But repeating the already published (be it, published in the seedy underbelly of football blogs) is not something that turns me on.

Also, writing a book/novel/diary for publication is something that would take up 100% of any recreational time I have, time that is currently spent on managing this blog. So, it's quite likely that when I push ahead with the book/novel/diary I will:

a) Go on an internet sabbatical for the entirety of the pre-season and the 2010 season itself - from start to finish which would means I'm 'out of office' for a fair bit of time

b) Place this blog in the hands of a trustworthy individual and guest writers who will keep it ticking over until I return

c) Continue blogging, using the content as research

Obviously, I have one or two decisions to make. It's just not feasible for me to write blog articles and write a book at the same time.

So stay tuned for more information.

If you need to get in touch, please use the contact form found here.

UPDATES:

Ok, maybe it is feasible. I've decided that using the blog as a basis for content for the book should do the trick. Fingers crossed.

Guest bloggers now on board. Which means more time to draft. Potentially.
